CAPM® Requirements

To apply for the CAPM, one needs to have:
• A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent)
AND
• At least 1,500 hours experience OR 23 hours (PDU) of project management education.

About this Course

This computer based learning course is uniquely designed for professionals who wish to seek flexible on-demand learning lessons, coupled with the comfort of on-demand simulated examinations. The course is designed to suit the need of a professional to prepare for the CAPM® examination, even in a busy professional schedule and pass the Certification examination in the first attempt.

The computer based eLearning method has evolved over a period of time, based on the vast experience of QValue Services in conducting face-to-face training sessions on PMP® and CAPM® for diverse set of participants from different industry domains. The courseware and the learning methodology is carefully designed to address the coverage of topics and methods covered in traditional face-to-face sessions, supplemented by appropriate computer based learning mechanism (such as Notes, Audio, Video, Reference material, Query) to enhance the knowledge sharing approach.

This course is essential for every professional who wants to delve into the world of professional project management but does not have required experience hours for Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. The required certificate towards 23 contact hours (PDU) of project management education will be provided to the candidates after the completion of the eLearning course.

This training course outline follows the structure and layout of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, and will be covering topics such as Integration Management, Cost Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Communication Management, Procurement Management, Scope Management, HR Management, Quality Management etc. & Five Process areas in which the Project Development life cycle has been divided i.e. Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling and Project Closing.

Knowledge on these areas will definitely help one to perform his/her roles and responsibilities more effectively. After undergoing this workshop, a professional will become far more productive as he/she will get acquainted to the Best Practices of Project Management that are accepted and followed worldwide by the eminent industry leaders and decision makers.

The computer based learning sessions is supported by module (Knowledge Area) wise high quality interactive online learning material (minimum of 16 hours learning duration over 30 days access period). There are online simulated practice examinations, both module-wise (minimum 3 hours duration, with 12 tests of 0.25 hour each towards cumulative test and learning duration) and addressing the full examination coverage (minimum 4 hours duration, with 1 test of 4 hours towards cumulative test and learning duration). The total cumulative actual hours of structured learning activity is a minimum of 23 hours, which helps one to get prepared for the testing environment of the Certification examination.
